Or you and your partner are getting ready to retire to enjoy your grandchildren. You can get professional help or you can do it yourself for the following things to get your house ready to sell. Remember, in Colorado, when you list your house, you need to sell it. So, give a good thought of your reasons of sell. 

l Edge, mow and fertilize the lawn. Reseed sparse areas.

l Trim hedges, weed lawns and flowerbeds, and prune trees. Cut back overgrown shrubbery.

l Reseal cracks in foundation, steps, walkways, walls and patios. Power-wash the exterior.

l Clean and align gutters and downspouts; clean the chimney.
